Buttock Augmentation
If there is a lack of tissue in the butt and hip area, the butt appears low and hangs over the leg. This causes an unpleasant appearance. In addition, if there is fat on the waist and back, feminine lines disappear.
Buttock augmentation surgery is a surgery to shape the central body region. That is, the waist, butt, and upper legs are reshaped. Another name for buttock augmentation is the Brazilian Butt Lift.
Buttock augmentation surgeries have 3 stages:
- First Stage of Surgery: Liposuction, Fat Removal
Removing the fat stored in certain parts of the body under local or general anesthesia is called liposuction. Depending on the fat distribution of the patient, the amount of excess weight, as well as the areas where the patient complains of excess fat, first liposuction (fat removal) is performed. Fat is definitely removed from the waist and back. The abdomen, upper legs, and thighs are also where fat is removed for this surgery.
- Second Stage of the Surgery: Fat Injection
It is the stage of injecting the fats taken to the necessary places to ensure the fullness of the butt. The extracted fats are filled to the butt, even more to the upper part of the butt, by means of special cannulas. In this way, the desired fullness is formed. As a result, the butt looks raised and upright.
After the Buttock Augmentation Surgery
The main determinant of the buttock augmentation process is the liposuction stage. In other words, depending on how much fat is removed from which areas, the patient stays in the hospital. The postoperative corset prevents swelling and fluid collection in the areas where liposuction is performed. The corset is used for 1 month. Leading clinics provide special pillows to prevent the injected oils from being exposed to pressure, and these pillows should be used for 2-3 weeks, and then the patient can continue their normal lives.
